Concept Car Gran Turismo Coupé - 2010

The World Première of the Hispano Suiza Gran Turismo Coupé Concept Car at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show received widespread acclaim and marked the renaissance of the Hispano Suiza name, rightly reclaiming its place at the uppermost end of the market for luxurious high‐performance automobiles.

The car is a superb combination of uncompromising design, supreme driving performance, utmost exclusivity and technical perfection. The Hispano Suiza Gran Turismo Coupé features ultimate standards of high-precision engineering and craftsmanship united with state of the art Lamborghini/Audi‐based technology.

The 5.2-liter twin-turbo V10 engine with direct fuel injection accelerates the car from standstill to 100 km/h in less than 4 seconds and on to a top speed in excess of 340 km/h. The 6‐speed mechanical (or optional 6-speed dual-clutch paddle‐shift sequential) transmission is a perfect match for the permanent all‐wheel drive system, which guarantees optimal traction and superb handling at all times.

Maguari HS1 GTC - 2019

The renowned designers Erwin Leo Himmel and Olivier Boulay created the new Maguari HS1 GTC. Austrian Erwin Leo Himmel is one of the most creative talents of his generation. He led the transformation of Audi becoming a premium and sporty automobile manufacturer and set the pace for Lamborghini, Bentley and Bugatti. One of his most notable creations is the 1991 Audi quattro Spyder concept. Frenchman Olivier Boulay was former Chief Designer at Mercedes – among others he was the creator of the famous Maybach – and also designed some strategically important models for Porsche.

With the new Maguari HS1 GTC Himmel and Boulay took the 2010 Gran Turismo Coupé Concept Car to the next level. Design is key and the new car combines traditional handcrafting skills with innovative high-tech – just as the Swiss engineer and Hispano Suiza mastermind Marc Birkigt did back in the early days of the brand. The automobile division of Hispano Suiza is named after the South American stork.

Himmel and Boulay redesigned the Hispano Suiza sports car following the ideology of the brand – Luxury, Comfort, Endurance and Speed. Exterior, interior and technical key features from the classic Hispano Suiza cars have been translated into a modern car. The 5.2 liter twin-turbo V10 engine producing 1,085 hp accelerates the car from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.8 seconds to a top speed of 380 km/h (electronically limited). The engine of the 2019 Maguari HS1 GTC is closely linked to the famous historic engines that mastermind Marc Birkigt created. Today, exactly 100 years after the Swiss engineer developed the aviation engine 12Y51, it came to life again.

The 7-speed automatic sequential paddle shift transmission is a perfect match for the rear wheel drive system, which guarantees optimal traction and superb handling at all times.
